HKI/Nepal is working to improve the nutritional status of women and young children through evidence-based research and programs. Helen Keller International (HKI), CARE, FHI 360, Nepali Technical Assistance Group (NTAG), Equal Access Nepal (EAN), Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO), Vijaya Resource development Centre (VDRC) is implementing USAID funded Suaahara II Program (SP II) in 42 districts, applications are invited from interested, committed, dynamic team players and experienced Nepali nationals for the following position:

Outreach Communication Manager |
The position will be responsible to lead all of program efforts related to outreach communications. This includes for developing, planning and implementing the communications and marketing agenda via events and a wide variety of print and web communications, building relationships with media, management of public events, development and dissemination of project-level publicity materials and document editing. The position will also involve responsibility for providing communication support to the program team, to document and publicize project achievements and learning through media, events and other stakeholders. All activities must comply with donor and HKI policies. |
Education: Master’s in business administration, journalism, mass communications or development or a related field. Experience: At least 5 + relevant experience in developing project- or organization-level communication strategies and products including technical briefs, program updates, newsletters and other products for a variety of audiences. Skills: The equivalent of native proficiency in English, strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate and conduct meetings in both languages, English & Nepali. |
