Helen Keller International is an International non-profit organization (INGO) working in health and nutrition in Nepal since 1989 to improve the nutritional status of women and young children through evidence-based research and programs. Helen Keller International, CARE, FHI 360, Nepali Technical Assistance Group (NTAG), Digital Broadcast Initiative Equal Access (DBIEA), Environment and Public Health Organization (ENPHO), Vijaya Development Resource Center (VDRC) together are implementing USAID funded Suaahara II Program in 42 districts. Applications are invited from interested, committed, dynamic team players and experienced Nepali nationals for the following position:

Consultant – Documentation of Public Private and Partnership and Private Sector Engagement approach (no-1) (Short Term – 65 days) (February to June 2022)

Summary of Job Purpose: This position will be responsible for reviewing key SPII private sector engagement document which includes strategy, develop assessment tools; capture relevant lessons and recommendation models that have been implemented; conduct interviews with relevant private sector actors/ partners, local government stakeholders, beneficiaries and staffs at central level and various districts; develop a learning document with recommendation for future implementation, share findings for inputs and dissemination the final product with Kathmandu team.

Educational qualifications and experiences: A PhD or master’s degree in sociology, development studies, business study or in similar field; previous experience specializing in designing and implementing programs/activities using public private partnerships and private sector engagement approach; proven track record of designing tools and carried out assessment activities for program learning documentation; excellent writing, documenting, facilitation, and communication skills; possess a working background or knowledge in the development sector of Nepal especially INGOs working in the field of nutrition, disadvantaged groups, women and children among others; knowledge on CSR and experience in liaison with public, community, private/corporate sectors and familiarity with the gender and social inclusion role in the development projects.
